All-Whites, 100% Liquid Egg Whites
Gone are the days of breaking eggs and separating the whites from the yolks to make an egg-whites omelette...and then of course, what to do with the lone yolks?!
I first started using All-Whites about seven years ago, shortly after my kidney transplant, and found the product to be extremely easy and convenient to use, and a wonderful, zero-fat and zero-cholesterol way to get protein into my system.
Click here to learn all about All-Whites.
I'm not much of a baker, so please visit the All-Whites website to find out about substituting All-Whites in place of yolks in certain dessert recipes.
I love making omelettes using All-Whites! First I saute-up some diced potato, red bell pepper, Vidalia onion and freshly-ground peppercorn medley...
Then I pour on the All-Whites goodness!
I haven't tried pouring some All-Whites into smoothies yet, but since the egg-whites are heat pasteurized, you can do so without the fear of getting sick! When I make turkey meatloaf, or meatballs, I use All-Whites in place of regular eggs as the binder, and I also use All-Whites in place of regular eggs when I bread chicken or fish!
Each serving has 5 grams of protein and All-Whites is certified as Heart-Healthy by the American Heart Association!
I hope you try All-Whites, Liquid Egg Whites in place of regular eggs in your favorite recipes...give it a try! The only thing you have to lose is cholesterol and fat! :)
Ciao for now, Gina D.

Easy-to-make Sweet Potato-Ginger Soup
This is a really simple soup to make, and I enjoy having it on its own, as to fully take advantage of all the anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of the sweet potatoes the ginger, and the parsley.
Below are the ingredients...freshly-grated ginger, about one tablespoon; one medium sweet potato, already steamed or boiled until soft; fresh parsley (optional); some vegetable broth or even water; and some freshly-ground black pepper, or McCormick's peppercorn medley.
I simply smash the sweet potato with the back of a fork. I've seen recipes on-line which call for the use of a blender, but I don't think it's really necessary.
Then, I simmer the ginger in a small amount of the broth or water for about 30 seconds before adding the smashed sweet potatoes, parsley, black pepper, and broth. Let everything simmer slowly for about 10 minutes so the flavors meld together nicely.
It's a really delicious pick-me-up, healthy soup! I hope you give it a try!

| Wearing my Kirks Folly Ladybug Ring |
I love this ring! And, really, who doesn't love ladybugs? It was the first type of bug that landed on me when I was little that didn't make me cringe! Of course, growing up in New York City, I had my run-ins with the dreaded "c"- word bug...Ugh...Gross!
But ladybugs are just so cute with their rounded little bodies and legs that tickle the back or your hand when they land on you. I can remember just watching one slowly walk on my hand as I admired its lovely red color with small black spots. Then, as soon as I was done admiring it, it would separate its back into wings and take off!
Kirks Folly is known for their whimsical, fantasy-inspired jewelry, and you can find all their creations on the QVC website!
Following is Kirks Folly's description of the ring:
Luck be the ladybug. This goldtone ring is decorated with an assortment of crystals and hand-enameled details. The ladybug's domed body is accented with faceted, round red crystals on the wings with scattered round aurora borealis crystals and red epoxy enamel. The ladybug's head is done in black epoxy enamel with round clear crystal eyes. Round aurora borealis crystals also decorate the separation of the wings and the sides of the shank. From Kirks Folly.

McCormick's Peppercorn Medley Grinder
I first tried this about a year ago when I was looking for the regular black peppercorns that come in the grinder. They were out of it, so I purchased the Peppercorn Medley instead!
Included in the medley are: Black Peppercorns, Pink Peppercorns, White Peppercorns, Green Peppercorns, Coriander and Allspice.
I can best describe the flavor that it adds to foods as "Wow"...milder than the black peppercorns on their own, with a slight floral hint! I really love the fact that the peppercorns are freshly ground with the built-in grinder, each and every time I use it!
I hope you try McCormick's Peppercorn Medley Grinder too, so you can experience the wonderful flavor it adds to foods!
